Moving to WordPress!?
When I first designed this site, and even this company, I was developing on Drupal. Most of my past sites are in Drupal, I really like it as a platform. I was recently tasked with creating a WordPress site for a client, which I did in about half of the time it normally takes me to do a comparable site in Drupal. Furthermore, blogging in general is “easier” on WordPress, and seems to require less backend code (though more PHP, if that makes sense?).
As a result, I am moving this site to WordPress in the coming months, as time allows. I have not decided if I am going to go for a “design” oriented theme, or a more “business” oriented theme- or maybe one of each?
I will not be posting any blog content on this site until the conversion is complete, mostly because I am not having much fun blogging on Drupal. Once I am full over on WordPress, I will start anew full force!
